The hotel was excellent and ideally situated for long walks through the nature reserve, the beach, and Arklow town,
having to query item on my account - and very poor welcome to the dining room at breakfast - especially since I was travelling on my own - had to ask for a table for two - plenty of them - having been nearly not quite ushered - more of a nod - to a table for four!!
Excellent service, clean rooms, lovely location, food and entertainment on the night were excellent.
peace and quiet friendly staff wonderful bird life on lake lovely place to relax
I found the whole experience very relaxing fron the monent i checked in.the receptionists were great very good at their job...the leisure centre was gorg totally chilled out there before later getting bar food which was good for the price... a lot of entertainment on with band and dj..and then breakfast was great buffet have as much as you want...all round i had a lovely experience ..the hotel situated next to town but still has that distance away if you didnt want to do anything but relax .
Easy parking. Excellent leisure centre. Large lobby. Bar food available all day.
Found beds quite hard. Stayed in disabled room but not really large enough for purpose. Breakfast could not be accessed by wheelchair user without help.
I had read complaints from previous customer reviews but I am so glad to say I was not put off by them. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short break at the hotel. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The food was excellent and great value for money. There was also a great leisure complex for the whole family to enjoy. We found the members of staff very attentive and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend the Arklow Bay Hotel and will definately use it again in the near future.
Very comfortable and relaxing. Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms.Staff pleasant and approachable when there was a problem.
Buffet breakfast was not up to standard of Hotel.Selection of food advertised was not all available.Hot food was not hot. Rashers were overcooked and hard. No side plates for your bread/toast were not available on our tables or on the display.Tea pots were badly stained and dirty looking.Definately room to improve on this area.
i wouth recommend this hotel to any one
Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpfull. The buffet breakfast was lovely and great value for money.
It was nice that the children were able to use the pool.
Our room felt somewhat cramped for the 4 of us and looked out onto a roof. The bathroom was tired, a bulb had blown and the extractor fan was full of dust.
Very welcoming and relaxing / local to various attractioins / good roads for travelling
Fortunately we cannot find anything to complain about
It was the first time I stayed in the Arklow Bay even though I have been to the Arklow and Wexford area for years, more often in family or rented accomidation when my children were young. This is the first time I have been there in about 10 years. I enjoyed the few days and noticed the Arklow Bay area has improved greatly in many ways. I enjoyed the few days it was very relaxing and the walks are lovely. I would recommend the Hotel to family and friends. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
Very friendly staff.Brilliant leisure club and family friendly.
Breakfast not great and family changing rooms (in pool) need a playpen to set young babies while you are getting changed.Family rooms could be slightly bigger
I would like to compliment Ramos in your dining room. We had a group of 3 adults and 4 children. The dinner was interrupted on a number of occasions by problems with the children. Throughout this Ramos was proactivly responsive with a friendly smile. He was away when the meal was finished and I would ask you to convey my compliments to him. The hotel can be proud of such service. Michael Carbery
